I took a 6-day trip to Boston with my awesome cousin Melyn. She used to live there and was going back for a wedding, so she extended her trip to take a vacation with me! It was AMAZING. I actually broke out into hives a few days before leaving because I was so nervous about leaving the kids, but was quickly able to relax and have a fantastic time. I'm so glad I went, and thankful to my sweet husband, mom, and friends who watched the boys. I think this should be a yearly event...
Boston day 1: Shopping (we of course hit Tall Girl), walking around downtown, Swan Boat ride.

Boston day 2: Biking at Cape Cod. We rented bikes and did a total of 24 miles to the coast and back. We stopped for lunch and had the best sandwiches EVER (pictured). The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and the weather was perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better day.

Boston day 3: Boston temple, apple picking, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum (no pictures, but so cool), barbecue at the beach. I know, that picture of Melyn could totally be in a magazine.

Boston day 4: The wedding. Melyn's former co-worker got married at an estate on the beach in Cohasset, MA. It was a beatiful location, and we had a great time. We especially enjoyed meeting the groom's family. In the second picture in this set, you'll see Jessica next to Melyn. She is the groom's cousin, and is 6'2". I felt like a shorty while they swapped tall girl stories (stupid things people say, the woes of clothes shopping, etc.). Jessica is GREAT and lives right near me with her husband! Yay!

Boston day 5: Church. We went to church at Melyn's old ward. We decided to take pictures with our SWEET rental car while we were all dressed up. Melyn named the car "Mahana", which was perfect for the hideous looking thing. "Mahana you ugly!"
