Guess Who Came to Dinner

Lucky Us

We got to spend a fun-filled Memorial Day weekend in NC with some of our favorite people. We enjoyed beautiful weather swimming at a friend's pool, wading in the creek, and blowing lots of bubbles.

Bath Time Conversations

Mom: Tag, you're cute.
Tag: No I'm not cute, I'm a big boy.
Mom: That's true. You are a big boy. But you're also cute.
Tag: Daddy said I'm awesome.
Mom: You are awesome. And also cute.
Tag: Cute is not awesome, Mommy.

Meanwhile, Wes got a hold of a cup (he isn't allowed to have cups in the tub because he CONSTANTLY drinks the bath water). I had decided to paint my nails while the boys were soaking, so I couldn't take it away. He kept putting it to his lips, at which point I would say "Wes" in a warning tone. He would immediately pour the water down his chest, pretending that he had, in fact, never planned on drinking it. He can't fool me with those sly sideways glances.

Also a favorite of mine: Tag calls Winnie-the-Pooh, "P00-Poo bear".
