I was invited to spend a morning photographing the women's crew team from Temple University. We spent our time chatting with head coach Jason Read, gold medalist in the 2004 Olympic Games, getting some perspective on what it means to be a champion! This was a real treat.

Dwight D. Eisenhower Executive Office Building (EEOB)
Thanks to Kyler and some of his nice government connections, we find ourselves within the belly of the EEOB...
...for our appointment at the Executive Office Building Bowling Alley!!
Bowling lanes were first built in the ground floor of the West Wing as a birthday gift for President Truman in 1947. These were moved to the Old Executive Office Building in 1955 (pictured here). In 1969, President and Mrs. Nixon, both avid bowlers, had a new one-lane alley built (paid for by friends) in an underground workspace area below the driveway leading to the North Portico.
