On the heels of the exciting announcement that Prince William is engaged to Kate Middleton, I would like to personally congratulate the happy couple. Reading about this event in the news reminded me of a dream I had a few months ago. You know how some women have strange dreams when they're pregnant? Well I am one such woman.
Here's how it went: I am walking down the hall at school (college maybe?) when William approaches me. We talk for a minute, and he falls in love on the spot. I am flattered when he asks me to marry him, and briefly consider it before realizing, "Wait a minute, I'm already married. Happily." I tell him so, and he takes it very well. In fact, he respects me even more than he did when we first met (less than 2 minutes ago). We share a cab that drops us off under the train station by my house in Philly; William goes one way, I go the other. Then I get mugged by some shabby-looking girl who I proceed to punch repeatedly until she gives me my hot-pink cell phone back. The end.

I had that SAME dream, different pregnancy, and it ended when I told him I was already married. Sad I missed out on the rest of that dream.... Maybe I'll be lucky enough to finish it your way tonight? How's the pregnancy going? 5 more weeks!
I have those same kinds of dreams, too. lol It's funny how long it takes for the subconscious to really grasp the concept of "Married. Happily."
Meredith, you are truly gangsta... in so many ways.
Hurray for happy endings. I especially like that you repeatedly punched the female assailant for not money, not the safety of your children, but your hot-pink cell phone. But at least you remembered you were married!
That is hilarious! I needed a good laugh :)
I love it! So funny! It makes me wish I had written down some of my pregnancy dreams
